About Me

Grace Carey McGovern, a self-proclaimed ‘spooky charcuterie queen,’ graduated from Western Connecticut State University with her B.F.A. in musical theatre in May of 2021.

At WCSU, Grace had the opportunity to study with industry professionals such as Scott Wise, Maryann Lamb, Elizabeth Parkinson, Tim Howard, Janelle Robinson, Chris Bolan, and Phillip George.

For her performance as Connie Miller in The 1940s Radio Hour, Grace was nominated for the Richard Maltby Musical Theatre Initiative Award and became a finalist in the competition at the 2020 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

Outside of WCSU, Grace has continued to pursue her training with the UNCSA Broadway Commercial Dance Lab, The Growing Studio, and Ryan Scott Oliver and Lindsay Mendez’s Actor Therapy.

In her free time, Grace enjoys crafting artisanal charcuterie boards, listening to Britney Spears, drinking tequila mules, and running her dog’s social media.
